feeble attempt…

a trip to the local 7-11 is one that we often times underestimate. every time i walk into one, i go in with the simple intentions of either paying for my gas or buying a pack of gum… yet why is it that no matter what circumstance brought me there, i always come out with a bag or two short of 1 weeks worth of groceries? ok! well maybe a slight exaggeration on my part but i do almost always come out with more than i had intended.
a typical jigglybitz 7-11 purchase would consist of… a pack of orbit gum, andy capp cheese fries, good humor strawberry shortcake popsicle (or chocolate eclair, depending on my mood), and a bottled water. if i were going on a long trip and the hubster is with me… a bag of beef jerky is a staple in our 7-11 necessities. and on a good day, nothing is to stop us from indulging on a foot long chili dog and/or loaded chili nachos. it is the 7-11 ultimate must have… for the modest price of $0.99, how could you possibly go wrong? ah! the joys of the oh-so convenient 7-11… you’ve gotta love it – heartburn & all.

i googled my name today. Not my whole name… just RINA. i was actually amazed at all the companies that went by my seemingly indistinct moniker. and they weren’t just measly, little companies, mind you! they had my name in corporate like fashion, emblazoned on their corporate websites… complete with mission statements, core values & visions to boot. imagine that?? who would’ve thunk it!?
and yes, that’s what i do when i’m bored?

goody bag stickers..thanks hun!i made Lil’Mister’s goody bags for his classmates this year. Mr. Jiggles had a lot to do with it too of course! We make an awesome team.. I have the vision he makes it happen! They turned out pretty well i must say. nothing fancy yet does the job… cutesy enough to put a smile on my Lil’Mister’s face. he is so into Alvin & the Chipmunks this year but there is absolutely no chipmunk merchandise out there. goody bagsAt least none that i could find… so, he has the Alvin goody bags with Super Mario Bros candy in it and a Spongebob Cupcake cake… all his faves! He agreed to forgo the annual birthday shindig that we’ve thrown for him in the past because he wanted to go to Nick Hotel for his birthday this year. But because it’s a water park/hotel & it being the ‘not as warm as we’d like it to be’ month of February, we decided to postpone it til the ‘more water friendly’ month of May. we are however, spending his birthday @ Disneyland… thanks to his Ninong Marlon.

My Lil’ Mister is turning 7!! Wowsa!!

Happy (advance) Birthday Rian. Have fun at Disneyland. Wow…7 already. Cute goody bags!
That eclair looks YUM. I’ve never tried their dessert…all because I never leave room for it. I should learn not to stuff my face next time, but I’ve heard the dessert menu is DELISH!
    Saw the RINA website…hehehe! 😉
Need to try the chili nachos….you’re making my mouth water. Okay, time to feed myself and not lil miss Kaylee Cakes this time….the lil princess is sound asleep.

  2. actually cheryl, we went to claim jumper for dinner the day before & had no room for dessert. we saw someone else order it & it looked so good we went back the next day… just for dessert. we couldn’t finish it ourselves, but it was so worth the return trip. but now that i’ve had it, unless we’re there as a group… i’ll stick with their red velvet cupcake. just the right size of yummy goodness to satisfy my sweet tooth.

can you believe the waitress told us a lady ate one of those all by herself?! whoa!

  3. so, I told Dave last night to pick some dessert at claim jumper up for Valentine’s Day since we won’t be dining in. We were looking at the sweets menu last night…haha. We went for Jap food (first time eating at a restaurant since Kaylee was born) this past Friday with my fam and it was challenging. I couldn’t even enjoy my spider rolls and shrimp tempura rolls because Kaylee wanted to be held. it was 9:30 at night….go figure…it was past her bedtime.
